The Flux Arts Building is hosting its third annual Flux Frost Fest.  The building will be full of art that makes great one-of-a-kind gifts- paintings, ornaments, miniatures, tea towels, tiles, quilts, switch plate covers, and so much more!  Meet the artists and hear about their creative process!  This year we will also have puppet shows and a swap!  Check out the details below!

Winter/Holiday Decor and Cards/Stationery Swap

Bring pre-loved, now-unwanted small to medium winter/holiday decor. Bring cards and/or stationery of any kind. Or bring yourself. Take items new to you. You can take without bringing or bring without taking. Check back often during Frost Fest to see what new treasures have arrived. Art supplies suitable for making greeting cards are also welcome.

Accepted items:
Winter decor and art for indoors or outside
Winter holiday decor including tabletop Christmas trees (Nothing bigger; please donate full-sized trees, inflatables and other large yard decor to Hidden Treasures in St. Anthony or a charity of your choice)
Winter holiday greeting cards
Cards and stationery for any season, holiday or occasion – especially partial boxes. Trading of singles or small multiples is encouraged.
Supplies for making greeting cards, such as rubber stamps, blank cards or paper stock, gently used file folders and presentation folders, vintage or current card fronts, flat-ish found objects, stickers.
General paint/pastel/colored pencil/marker supplies welcome also.
Not accepted items:
Large decor items (see above)
Broken or inoperable items unless they are analog and have art potential (no broken items that need electric or battery power)
Would you give this to a friend, or a friend who’s an artist? If not, don’t bring it.Please, no additional items after 4:00pm.
Early drop-off available on the shelf outside Clay Squared Gallery at the Flux will be available after November 9th.Get inspired! We will also be hosting Art-in-the-Moment. Assemble found objects into a scene, photograph the creation and return the items to the pile. Other reuse ideas, too.
